The Conservatory of Magic is a source of extraordinary knowledge and discoveries. Our museum is constantly active, offering exceptional new collections, special events, and several temporary exhibitions. We do everything we can to satisfy our visitors' curiosity.
We've created this space to keep you informed about everything happening behind our walls. We invite you to come back regularly to stay up-to-date.
New Testimonials section
The Conservatory announces the creation of a space reserved for testimonies from anyone who has encountered a magician, whether in a formal situation or by chance and/or known personally. We would love to hear from you about these special moments. Feel free to send us a photo of yourself with the artist, if applicable. Your testimony will be published on the Conservatory's website.

Additions to the Tom Auburn Collection
The Canadian Conservatory of Magic has acquired 65 exclusive photographs by renowned photographer Yousuf Karsh from Library and Archives Canada. These black-and-white photos are dated August 1947. They depict the young magician Tom Auburn, aged 30, with several female models during a photo shoot organized by the fashion magazine Mayfair. You can see some of these exclusive photos in the TOM AUBURN COLLECTION in the MAGIC OF CANADA exhibition.
Yousuf Karsh, born December 23, 1908 in Mardin, Turkey, was an Armenian-Canadian photographer known for his portraits of prominent and famous men and women in politics and the arts. His breakthrough in photojournalism came in 1936 when he photographed the meeting between U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Canadian Prime Minister Mackenzie King. He became a Canadian citizen in 1947.
